At Garment Archive, authenticity is not just a promise — it is the foundation of our archive.

We have a zero-tolerance policy for counterfeit items. Every single piece that enters our inventory goes through a rigorous authentication process to ensure it is 100% genuine before it is listed for our community.

Step 01

Submission & Intake

Every piece undergoes initial screening before it enters our archive. We verify the source and provenance of each garment.

Step 02

Visual Inspection

Detailed examination of stitching, hardware, labels, tags, serial numbers, and overall construction quality.

Step 03

Material & Detail Analysis

Cross-referencing materials, fonts, colorways, and specific details against verified authentic references for each brand.

Step 04

Final Certification

Only pieces that pass all stages of inspection are listed in the archive. Rejected items are returned to the seller immediately.

What happens if an item doesn't pass?

We take counterfeits seriously. Any item that fails our authentication process is immediately flagged and rejected. It will never make its way to our store.
